Bullying gets in the way of teachers teaching, and students learning, and is prohibited in schools.
The previous Attorney Generals, including Matt Denn and Beau Biden, worked on the issue of school bullying. In 2012, then-Lt. Governor Denn partnered with then-Attorney General Beau Biden to persuade the General Assembly to passed two new laws related to bullying in the state’s public schools in 2012 – Senate Bill 193 (cyberbullying) and House Bill 268 (reporting).
