Anti-Bullying Efforts

Bullying gets in the way of teachers teaching, and students learning, and is prohibited in schools.

About the Efforts

The previous Attorney Generals, including Matt Denn and Beau Biden, worked on the issue of school bullying. In 2012, then-Lt. Governor Denn partnered with then-Attorney General Beau Biden to persuade the General Assembly to passed two new laws related to bullying in the state’s public schools in 2012 – Senate Bill 193 (cyberbullying) and House Bill 268 (reporting). The following reports and resources have flowed from and informed the current and previous Attorney General efforts.
