Attorney General Matt Denn welcomes Delaware’s students back to school for the 2017-2018 academic year, but reminds them that bullying is a significant issue. Bullying gets in the way of teachers teaching, and students learning, and is prohibited in schools.

Attorney General Denn has worked on the issues of school bullying since his time as Lieutenant Governor. In 2012, he partnered with then-Attorney General Beau Biden to persuade the General Assembly to passed two new laws related to bullying in the state’s public schools in 2012 – Senate Bill 193 (cyberbullying) and House Bill 268 (reporting).
