ATTORNEY GENERAL JANE BRADY

TO RECEIVE LIFETIME OF COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD

Wilmington (DE): On Saturday, June 11, 2005, Attorney General Jane Brady will be recognized by Women Networking in Southern Delaware, Inc. (WNSD) and the Points of Light Foundation. Attorney General Brady will receive a lifetime of community and volunteer service award, which includes recognition from this Delaware women's non profit organization, a Points of Light medal and a congratulatory letter from President George W. Bush. The ceremony will take place on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at Notting Hill Cafi, 546 North DuPont Highway, Georgetown (on the northbound side of RT-113).

"This is our first lifetime recognition that we are awarding," Rhonda H. Tuman, co-founder and president of WNSD says, "and we are very pleased to be presenting it to Jane. She has been an ardent supporter both in time and resources of one of our programs, Girl Power Delaware Leadership Center, nearly attending every monthly meeting and all of our social activities since the program began three years ago. Through her leadership, the Delaware Department of Justice co-sponsored the Cyber Girls' Conference this past April. She is also a regular contributor to a publication that WomenNetworking publishes, Secret No More."

To be eligible for these awards, the recipient has had to perform 4,000 hours of volunteer service in a lifetime. The WNSD award requires a lifetime of service to women and girls in southern Delaware.

The public is invited to the presentation, which will be made as part of the WNSD Annual Meeting. There is no cost to attend, by RSVP is required by Friday, June 10, to 302 249-8145 or via email at info@girlpowerdelaware.org.
