BRADY TO PARTICIPATE IN 51ST ANNUAL NATIONAL SECURITY FORUM
(Wilmington, DE): At the invitation of the Secretary of the Air Force, James G. Roche,
Delaware Attorney General Jane Brady will participate in the 51st annual National Security Forum of
the Air War College at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama from May 24th through May 28th.
According to the Air Force, the event is designed to, “expose influential American
citizens to the United States Armed Forces in order to gain an appreciation for each other’s
perspectives.” The Forum provides, “an opportunity for Air War College students, who are the future
senior leaders of the American military, to interact with a broad cross-section of civilian leaders
from the fields of business, industry, labor, the law, education, state and local government, media,
the clergy and medicine.” On average, 130-140 distinguished guests attend each year.
Joining Attorney General Brady as guests this year will be, among others, city Mayors
from Texas and New Mexico, a Senior Vice President of the Ohio State University Medical Center,
magazine and newspaper editors, leaders of Chambers of Commerce, academic leaders from the University
of Nebraska and Daniel Webster College (New Hampshire), the U.S. Marshal for Oklahoma, and business
leaders from General Dynamics Corp (Maryland), Wells Fargo Bank (Iowa) and ENSTAR Natural Gas Co. (
Alaska).
Attorney General Brady was nominated to attend the Forum by Colonel John Pray, Commander
of the Dover Air Force Base. Brady commented, “I am honored to have been selected to participate in
this prestigious Forum and look forward to learning much information and sharing my views.”
The cost of participation is a personal expense for the Attorney General.
