PEOPLE WHO CAN HELP

There may be times that you find yourself in a difficult situation and you aren't sure what to do. You may try and talk with friends but they may not have the answers that are right for you. The best bet would be to go to your parents. But if that isn't something you either can or want to do, than there are other people who may be able to help you.

In most every school, there is a nurse and even a school counselor. They are terrific people to go to and often have helped other kids in similar situations. Or you may want to talk with another adult you are close with, like a teacher, a relative, or a friend's parent. Sometimes though even talking with these people may be tough and so there are some places you may want to call to talk with someone over the phone.
