| Every time a child goes
online, he or she is at risk of being contacted by a predator. In
fact, one in every seven children has been sexually solicited on the
internet. That's why an essential part of Attorney General Biden's
fight to protect children from predators is giving kids the
real-world tools they need to keep themselves safe online. With the
help of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,
Attorney General Biden created an interactive, relatable Internet
Safety Presentation that teaches kids about the dangers they face
online, how to avoid becoming a victim, and where to turn for help
if they are targeted. Since the spring of 2007, Attorney General
Biden and his staff have brought this presentation to children and
parents up and down the state. |
